Neon Lounge from the Past!

The Peppermill

2985 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas

Need a restaurant? Need a Bar? Need a Ultra Lounge with a Fire Pit?
Well I found this cozy spot years ago while hunting for a midnight snack.
It was a step back to Las Vegas days when the neon lights and the cheap
drinks gave Vegas it's nickname Sin City. This great establishment has
managed to keep its ambiance and style for well since the 70's. The
large neon sign out front glows and allures you into its restaurant and
fire pit lounge. The restaurant has a old diner/coffee shop feel to it! The
menu an all American delight. The fact that it's open 24 hours a day makes
the menu that much more inviting. You can easily see why the producers
of the movie Casino pick this place to shoot some scenes! Next is the Fire-
Pit Lounge...

This is a real euphoric treat! The black lights and pink and blue neon adorn
every wall. There are chrome polls everywhere and plush velvet booths to
sit everyone comfortably! The waitresses greet you a long black gowns and
are attentive to your needs! The Fire Pit is large and flashes a colorful flame
surrounded by water. The light show is endless! The drinks are quite exotic
and the beers are cold! There are mini flat screen everywhere showing the
latest videos and the sound system is pumping. This place outshines most
nightclubs in Vegas!

Vegas Is Smokin......

The Tobacco Leaf

7175 W Lake Mead Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89128
702-432-3000

Well I have to say after a hard days work or on a quiet Sunday afternoon there
is no place like the Tobacco Leaf to relax and smoke a premium cigar! There are
two stores conveniently located in Las Vegas. The first is located on the south side
of town at
9400 S Eastern Ave and the second is on the north-west side of town
at 7175 W. Lake Mead Blvd. I have been to both stores and they are equally
stocked and pleasantly decorated!

I will base the majority of this article on the Lake Mead Store. This is the latest
addition and I might add the nicest one! Upon entering the store you get a real
feel for what a old world cigar shop would have been like, but with a new world
makeover. The floors are marbleized and there is stone on the walls. A beautiful
stone wet bar with a coffee machine greets you as you enter as well. There is a
wooden antique styled shelving that adorns the whole right wall and cabinets
full of gifts. The walk in humidor stares at you as if it was a separate store in its
self! Lurking behind the humidor door lies over 1000 different sticks for your
picking! You can enjoy sticks from all over the world and believe me they are as
fresh as you can get.

There is more.....head to the back and through another doorway and you reach a
lounge filled with leather couches and chairs. Painted beautifully and appropriate
art work on the wall this sanctuary is a cigar heaven! There is a large table to hold
your stick while you sit back and watch the large flat screen TV. It just doesn't get
ant better than this......oh but it does! There are many very special events held here
with owners and rollers of the top cigar manufacturers. I can say that everyone who
visits this establishment truly has a cultured cigar moment that lasts forever! I
have made great friends in this store.

The Leaf as we call it is full of your favorite brands like, Aston, La Gloria Cubana,
Macanudo, Cohiba, Torano, Padron, Punch, Gurkha, C.A.O., Rocky Patel and many
many more.
You can pick up any accessory you can think of like humidors, lighters, butane,
cutters, shirts and much more.....

In closing this fine establishment carries everything you need or want and supplies
you with the most comfortable setting in which to smoke. Come on by and make
some new friends and relax!

Fantastic New Buffet In Town!

KRAZY BUFFET

8095 W. Sahara Ave.
Las Vegas NV 89117
Phone: 702-869-6699
Cuisine: Buffet / Chinese

Well I just happen to run across a coupon in the 89144 ad book today for the KRAZY BUFFET! I took a chance and me and the misses went down to this rather large Asian buffet and to our surprise it was really good. What I mean by really good is that you only pay a small price for a large dinner! The buffet was loaded with King Crab Legs, Oysters, Clams, Sushi, Salad, Soups, Chicken Wings, and 25 other Asian dishes to die for!
The desert tables were loaded with Cookies, Cakes, Brownies, Fruits, Puddings and Soft Ice Cream!

The building is large on the inside with plenty of space and the decor is simple yet pleasing. The staff is very attentive keeping your table clean and the drinks full! The food was always the right temperature and fresh! It's almost funny because you feel as though you found a goldmine and no one knows about it!
I have saved the BEST for last.....the prices are $6.99 for lunch and $10.99 for dinner! Now that's the Vegas I know and love!
